Our award winning Scottish smoked salmon is gently rubbed in sea salt before being lightly smoked with well seasoned, aromatic oak chips.

The1kg unsliced side allows you to explore a wide range of serving styles and is vacuum packed for freshness. It can be stored chilled or frozen.

Chef’s Tip: No matter how you serve our Smoked Salmon, for the best flavour always serve at room temperature.

Description

Our salmon are sourced from the Shetland Isles where the deep sea lochs and strong tidal currents keep the fish fit and healthy.  They are filleted and  prepared in the traditional manner. Our salmon is then salted and a day or so later, slowly smoked over oak chips.

The Barony Smokehouse smoked salmon is low in fat and free from all additives and chemicals. It makes the perfect gift for all those special occasions. Each side of sliced smoked salmon weighs 1kg.

Preparation Guidelines: This smoked salmon is ready to eat. To enjoy this product at its best, remove from fridge 10 minutes before serving. The full flavour is best appreciated when the slices are served at room temperature.

The beauty of an unsliced side is that you can cut short or long slices to suit you own preference.
