Description
Barony Country Foods’ Apple Cider Vinegar is made on site with locally sourced apples. The squeezed apple juice is fermented in much the same way as in making cider.
This basic cider is left in an open vat for a few days then sealed in a barrel for 2 years before being bottled.
The final product is a sweet but tangy vinegar which is ideal for salad dressings, medicinal use or just squirted over your fish and chips.
Often this vinegar has a strandy mist through it. This is called “mother” and has enzymes, proteins and friendly bacteria typical of homemade, unfiltered apple cider vinegar.
